Editing Videos on YouCut App: A Step-by-Step Guide

YouCut offers a user-friendly interface for various video editing tasks. Here's a breakdown of the basic steps:

1. Importing Media:

  • Open YouCut and tap the "+" button.
  • Choose "Video" or "Photo" depending on your content.
  • You can select multiple items at once for multi-clip editing.
  • Tap "Import" to bring your media into the timeline.

2. Trimming and Splitting:

  • Tap on the clip you want to edit.
  • Three icons appear below the timeline: "Trim," "Split," and "Delete."
  • For trimming, drag the orange handles on either side of the clip to adjust the start and end points.
  • Tap "Split" to cut the clip into two parts at the playhead position.
  • You can reorder or delete segments by dragging them on the timeline.

3. Adding Music and Sound Effects:

  • Tap the "Music" icon.
  • You can:
    • Choose a song from your device or online library.
    • Adjust the volume and fade in/out points.
    • Mute the original video audio.
  • For sound effects, tap "Audio" and select from various categories.
