Samsung Galaxy S24 Overview

Design and Build

The Galaxy S24 continues the tradition of compact smartphones with powerful internals and cameras. If you're a fan of one-handed usability, this phone might catch your attention.

• Form Factor: The Galaxy S24 maintains a compact form factor, making it easy to handle with one hand.
• Build Quality: The phone feels solid, weighing 167 grams. The flat sides enhance grip, and the aluminium frame has a slight curvature to prevent discomfort around the edges and corners.
• Rear Panel: The Gorilla Glass Victus 2 rear panel houses three separate rings for the triple cameras, along with a smaller circle for the flash module.

Specifications and Pricing

The Galaxy S24 is equipped with an Exynos 2400 SoC in India. It comes with 8GB RAM and two storage variants: 256GB and 512GB. The phone features a high-quality display, but specific details are not mentioned in the available information. Samsung has packed a 4,000mAh battery into the Galaxy S24.

Color Options: You can choose from Amber Yellow (the one reviewed), Cobalt Violet, and Onyx Black. Additionally, if you purchase from Samsung's online store, you can get it in Sapphire Blue and Jade Green.

Galaxy S24 Ultra

In addition to the standard Galaxy S24, Samsung is likely to release a Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Ultra variant is expected to offer significant updates, including a switch to titanium for the frame (similar to the iPhone 15 Pro models in 2023). This change should result in a more durable and possibly lighter phone.

While the Galaxy S24 may not be the only compact smartphone in the market, it certainly aims to cater to users who appreciate powerful features in a smaller package. Whether it becomes the best compact smartphone of 2024 remains to be seen, but it's a promising addition to Samsung's lineup.
